Michael Bruell, LSW
Depression, anxiety, trauma-related experiences, bereavement, self-injury, and stress, as well as many more
As a former collegiate athlete and current Licensed Social Worker, I understand that the need for service is applicable in all areas of life. I have experience working with children, teens, and young adults in the education system along with in the juvenile justice system. I would like to walk alongside those struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma-related experiences, bereavement, self-injury, and stress, as well as many more.
The clinical approaches I use most are Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Sport Psychology techniques, Biblical Counseling, along with other modalities.
I earned my Master’s of Social Work from Dordt University (IA) in 2025 after playing collegiate baseball for 5 years. My goal is to serve and walk alongside anybody that is in need.
Michael Bruell sees patients out of the Morris & Yorkville locations.
