Timberlie Jahn

Timberlie JahnTimberlie Jahn is a Marriage and Family Therapist and Trauma Specialist who has worked for many years in child welfare and community mental health in Los Angeles, CA.  She holds an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy, Trauma Studies, a B.A. in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Family Therapy at North Central University.  Adopted at the age of 5, her work is driven with a personal passion to help children and their families today overcome adverse childhood experiences while finding resilience to heal, thrive, and break the generational trauma cycle.

 As a clinician, Timberlie works from a family systems perspective, particularly interested in early attachments and their impact on interpersonal relationships.  She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced trauma, foster care, adoption, and other adverse childhood experiences who are currently experiencing depression, PTSD, anxiety, and behavioral issues.  Timberlie is also available to provide training on adoption, childhood trauma, toxic stress and its impact on development, and Adverse Childhood Experiences.
