Rebecca Kersker, LPC

Rebecca

Hello there, Welcome to Crossroads!  My name is Rebecca and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), foodie, and dog lover (okay, I love cats too!).  I hope to work with you to help identify personal goals while providing space to process the challenges you are experiencing.  I strive to provide a calm, safe space that is solution focused and will meet you where you are at.  We all experience challenges; you are not alone in yours.

How would we approach these sessions?  We would start by giving you space to share your goals and what you hope to achieve in our time together.  From there, we will take things one step at a time, providing space to heal, grow, and equip you with skills and knowledge that can be used in your journey.

A little about myself: I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) that specializes in working with adolescents in various areas that include, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, addiction, and eating disordered behaviors.  Sessions will include the use of techniques found in dialectical (DBT), cognitive behavioral (CBT), as well as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).  Prior to Crossroads, I gained experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings and utilizes this knowledge in sessions.  I believe there are multiple facets of being human (physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental) and provides space in sessions for some or all areas to be explored based upon what the client desires.
