Kailee Walgren became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in February of 2020. She completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Saint Francis and obtained her
Master degree and Type 73 Certification in Social Work with a concentration in schools from Aurora University in 2010. She has been employed with Coal City School District since 2012 and is currently working full time as a School Social Worker at the Coal City Early Childhood Center. Throughout her work history, she has provided services to individuals and groups outside of the school setting which include girl’s empowerment groups, zones of regulation groups, and play groups.
Her passion is to empower and help clients find solutions and resolve current and past stressors and traumas so clients can find their best self. She believes in the importance of creating an empathetic and trusting environment where her clients can comfortably discuss and explore their concerns.
Her areas of clinical interest include: Anxiety, Stress Reduction and Management, Adjustment Disorder, Couples/Marital therapy, Eating Disorders, Self-esteem issues, Impulse Control Issues, OCD, Self-Injurious Behavior, and Trauma.
Kailee provides evening appointments for children, adolescents, and adults in the Morris & Wilmington locations.
