Alexis Massutti, LSW brings the experience of working with children and families in the foster care system to our practice. Alexis obtained her Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of St. Francis in 2019, while continuing on to obtain her Master of Social Work degree in 2020. Alexis began her career as a social worker in the private agency sector of foster care and eventually transitioning to the state sector of foster care. During this time Alexis has gained a lot of experience working with families and children towards reunification.
Alexis likes to meet the clients where they are at, while identifying and using their interpersonal strengths to begin building a strong foundation at the client's pace. This means working to unpack trauma, exploring all of the moving pieces and systems, and working a treatment plan that is not only obtainable, but realistic.
Areas of interest include Family issues, children's mental health, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
Alexis joined Crossroads' team July of 2022 and sees clients in the Plainfield location
