Stacy A. Aubry, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Divorce Mediator.
She received her Master in Social Work degree from Aurora University in 2005. She has experience treating children, adolescents and adults with a variety of mental health issues.
She believes in the power of collaborative relationships and works with clients to discover their own unique abilities. She strives to empower clients to use their own strengths, using CBT and solution focused approaches. She tailors her treatment based on their goals and needs.
She has 40 hours of training working with domestic violence and sexual assault. She also has run a DBT group, and healthy relationship group for adolescents and a ADHD parenting group.
Her areas of clinical interest include anxiety, depression, ADHD, domestic violence, sexual abuse, family issues, parenting issues, and self esteem.
Stacy—also a Certified Divorce Mediator—is approved by the Illinois Supreme Court and the Missouri Supreme Court to mediate divorce settlements. Issues addressed in divorce mediation include access to children and continuing cash flow to meet the ongoing needs of both husband and wife.
“Divorce is such a stressful time for parents and children,” Stacy says. “My goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible for the families.”
Stacy joined Crossroads Counseling Services in November, 2010.
