Mark A. McVay, D.O., received his D.O. degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and his Certification of Advanced Qualification in Addiction Medicine by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). He joined Crossroads Counseling Services in June, 2009.
Dr. McVay provides medication management for clients seeking to promote mental health and/or to support recovery from a substance-related problem.
Dr. McVay also provides an outpatient medication detoxification program (Suboxone) for clients needing to address dependency on opioids, painkillers and opiate-based prescription medications. A partial list includes heroin, Oxycotin, Percoset, Methadone, Vicodin, and Norco.
Practice hours: Dr. McVay currently offers daytime appointments in the Crossroads Counseling Services locations of Morris and Ottawa.
